Administrator/Receptionist
Location: Godstone
Project: M23
The Kier Highways Major Projects division are currently recruiting for an Administrator/Receptionist to join the Smart Motorways business.
Kier is working in collaboration with Highways England to deliver multiple Smart Motorways schemes across the UK, converting hard shoulders in to running lanes and installing sensors and signs to monitor and manage traffic flow so as to improve journey times in areas suffering from congestion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answering and directing calls as required
- Meet and greet visitors/suppliers/members of the public
- Manage signing in and out of all visitors to site
- Keeping up to date staff list including mobile numbers, email addresses and car details (make, model and car registration)
- Book meeting rooms and maintain project meeting room calendar, arrange set up of rooms including refreshing crockery and beverages, arrange working lunches as and when required
- Process incoming and outgoing post, including accepting deliveries for staff, recorded deliveries etc
- Responsibility for the office MFD's(copiers), monthly copy count reports, point of contact for any maintenance issues, replacement toners
- Maintain IT log, process IT requests for new starters for login details, IT equipment, new software etc
- Central point of contact for staff forms ie subsistence forms, holiday forms, etc, defect forms for site vehicles etc
- Point of contact for security personnel
- Support Senior Office Manager with gane time and attendance system
- Keeping staff board updated
- Support Accounts team with GRN processing etc when required
- Central contact for any maintenance issues within the office and welfare
- Any other duties as required to support the administration function
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Experienced Receptionist
- Proficient in Word and Excel
- 'Can do' attitude
- Confident attitude
- Able to multi-task
- Experience of working in the construction industry is desirable
