Business area: Utilities - Source Design Services

Introduction: Source Design Services is a well-established engineering design consultancy business working as part of Kier Group. We specialise in single or multi-Utility infrastructure design across water, gas and telecoms. Imagine a map of underneath the roads and pavements and you'll get an idea of the breadth and depth of what we do.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the design team by providing professional administration support in relation to internal and external projects.
  • Cover the reception area when required.
  • Assist with hotel and travel booking as required, throughout the business.
  • Provide any other administrative support duties as may be required to meet the needs of the business e.g. minutes of meetings, diary management, printing, collating/compiling files, stationery ordering etc.
  • Management of the document control systems to facilitate all incoming and outgoing design submissions.

    • Skills and Experience required:
  • Excellent IT Skills
  • Competent literacy skills
  • Able to work as part of a team
  • Pro-active approach to resolving problems
  • Able to organise and prioritise workloads, effectively balance multiple priorities and resources, and work to tight deadlines whilst remaining focused under pressure
