Position - Scape / Office Administrator

Salary Range - Competitive salary plus full package, including matched pension to 7.5%, two excellent share options plus numerous retail discounts

Location - Within 1 hours' commute of Glasgow

Projects type - Commercial, Education, MOD, Health, Student Accommodation, housing maintenance and multi-frameworks

Size of projects - Scape £50k to £4 million other frameworks & projects £2 million to £20 million

Kier Scotland & North East is looking to recruit an Office Administrator to support the small works and SCAPE site management team. The successful post-holder will be responsible for providing administrative support in a variety of guises, as detailed below:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Tasks may include managing enquiries, payroll, purchasing, monitoring and reporting of work, invoicing and payments
  • Maintain effective work systems, ensuring that all correspondence and documentation is dealt with in a professional manner to meet audit requirements
  • Deal with all routine queries so that an appropriate response is provided
  • Responding to all clients, residential and other enquiries on the phone and via email in a professional manner with a high level of customer services
  • Closing all enquiries within the service level agreement set to the business
  • Organise events, travel, accommodation etc.
  • Support the Office Manager with ad hoc or project based administration
  • Support all staff working on Scape projects with E-Learning
  • Provide monthly reports to Scape Hub Business Manager & Scape central team.
  • Work with Social Impact Manager as required to deliver Social Value through projects
  • Manage monitor and report on all projects monthly KPI
  • Manage monitor & update Scape tracker online system

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Good standard of education
  • Previous administrative experience
  • Must be IT literate with understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Efficient and professional approach with the ability to multi-task
  • Possess strong communication, organisational and time management skills
  • General willingness to be helpful, enthusiastic and flexible
  • Able to work as an individual and as part of a team
