Agent Location; CastlePoint Bournemouth Kier Infrastructure is looking to recruit an Agent, who will report to theProject Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for the successful completion of schemes, including managing the work from inception to completion on site.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Programming works, commercial performance and the effective utilisation of resources to meet those programmes
  • Support the implementation and monitoring of Health & Safety policies and procedures in accordance with Kier other H&S related policies and procedures
  • Support the implementation and monitoring of Business Assurance Systems (BAS) policies and procedures
  • Promote cross division working with other members within the LHA to create a one-team ethos
  • Take full ownership and accountability for profit and loss of your schemes, ensuring robust control of target costs and actual costs incurred
  • Ensure all labour, plant, materials and supply chain resources are accurately recorded
  • Undertake financial forecasts, forecast reviews, final cost & value review with Commercial Team
  • Minimise costs and ensure Target price fully reflects the works instructed through commercial awareness
  • Escalate where expectations are not met
  • Identify areas of opportunity and improvement
  • Create a programme to plan and measure the day to day activities
  • Ensure works are delivered in accordance with the specification


Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Holds a Full UK Driving Licence
  • 5 years industry experience
  • 5 Day - Site Managers Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) Certificate
  • Proven people and project management skills
  • Team leader with organisational skills
  • Competent judgement and problem solving skills
  • Commercial and Contractual awareness
  • Liaise in a professional manner with Client, Client Representatives, General Public and other interested parties
  • Strong Technical Knowledge (Including Temporary works)
