(Initially with regular work in North Devon, Barnstaple, Bideford, Bude and surrounding areas)

Responsibilities

As an Agent, you'll be working within the South-West Water Team, supporting them with the successful delivery of the North Devon Green Recovery (NDGR) AMI metering programme, along with clean water diversionary schemes, developer services requisitions and other clean water project related works associated with the Network Services Alliance (NSA).

Your day to day will include:

  • close management of supervisory staff, CIRCA 6-8 dig teams, plumbers, surveyors and single person resource all associated with the meter exchange programme
  • overlooking the management of the delivery team, plant, equipment and materials along with close monitoring of outputs against programme
  • liaising with other managers and contracts within Kier and be able to affectively co-ordinate the use of shared resources
  • establishing close client relationships as well as liaison with Highway Authorities and our local supply chain partners
What are we looking for?

This role of Agent is great for you if you are:

  • a strong, dynamic and pro-active Agent that will support the delivery team in delivering the outcomes required - with at least 5 years' experience working on water related projects clean and waste with experience of metering, reactive, renovation and/or developer type works
  • a solution finding individual with experience of metering, renovation, developer or diversionary type schemes.
  • a water specialist with excellent planning & co-ordination skills with a strong focus on adherence to programme for planned works.
  • qualified with management qualification at NVQ, CITB SMSTS / SSSTS or IOSH equivalent, streetworks trained - NRSWA Supervisor and a holder of Full UK Drivers Licence
