A major joint venture on HS2 based in Birmingham, seeks to bolster their management team by employing a dynamic and successful Site Agent with a proven track record of delivering major civils projects. This role is for at least 6 months and is to start ASAP.

The Site Agent will be required to oversee the pre-construction phase of planning and subcontract procurement for a group of highways schemes.

Duties of a Site Agent include:

  • Planning and programming of the works
  • Monitoring and implementing the financial controls and cost reports
  • Management and monitoring of Sub Agents, Section Engineers and the team
  • Oversee and manage traffic management plans
  • Liaise and chair client/project meetings
  • Oversee daily administration, quality, audits, permits and records
  • Implement company procedures and protocols
  • Compilation of Method statements and risk assessments
  • Interpreting and implementing of the design
  • Health and Safety compliance
  • Produce and review management plans and reports

Skills & Experience:

  • A Degree, Bachelors, MSc or HND in Civil Engineering
  • You will be currently working as a Sub Agent or Agent
  • Experience working for a main contractor
  • CSCS qualification
