Application Support Analyst to join our team based at York.
As an
Application Support Analyst you will investigate, resolve and report problems with technology systems and processes.
Role Details:
- Annual salary up to £28,000 - £32,000 dependent on skills and experience. Plus an annual on target bonus of 5%
- Role based: York (office based for 3 months, moving to a hybrid role after training has been completed)
- Contract type: Permanent
- Annual leave of 25 days per annum plus bank holidays and opportunity to buy an additional 5 days each year.
In this role you will be required to:
* Deliver service excellence by responding promptly to user requests and enquiries.
* Monitor and resolve tickets submitted through the incident management system, escalating where appropriate.
* Liaise with IT teams and stakeholders to collate, record, analyse and promptly report relevant information.
* Conduct audits and investigations into system or process issues, recommending corrective actions.
* Produce and maintain accurate, clear and up-to-date system documentation for applications and infrastructure.
* Respond promptly to requests and enquiries, resolve issues and Identify opportunities for process improvement.
* Support the evaluation, testing and introduction of new processes, applications and system changes.

Our Ideal Candidate
* Educated to GCSE and/or /A level, or equivalent relevant experience.
* Ability to fault-find and provide resolutions to issues.
* Ability to produce and maintain clear, accurate documentation.
* Knowledge and some experience of incident management processes and tools.
* Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Good communicator, able to work effectively with cross functional stakeholders.
