Exciting opportunity for an applications engineer to join a market leading telecommunications manufacturing company who are expanding heavily. With solid manufacturing training & technical progression available, this is a great chance for applications engineer to development projects throughout the UK & Europe.

This company manufacture, service & calibrate telecommunications equipment for companies across the globe. Due to increase of sales across the automotive, electronics & telecommunications industries, this employer is looking for motivated applications engineers to help grow the company further.

Job responsibilities:

Customer support and visits. Detailed technical sales support. Product support for sales team at customer (and other stakeholders) engagements during product sales cycle including presentations, demonstrations, training and technical response document preparation. Investigation and documentation of customer and market needs. Identify new solutions for customers & define requirements. Customer assistance at customer location to help resolve customer issues and meet customer needs or challenges. Analysis of competitive products and feedback to Product Line Management Preparation of documents (white papers, operators' manuals, presentations, specifications, training materials). Background Required:

Industry experience desirable Experience working with Project or Applications Engineering qualification HNC/HND Happy to travel across the UK consistently (occasionally European travel) Good general purpose IT skill required. Including: Microsoft Office 365 (particularly Excel & PowerPoint, Visio & Project an advantage), Teams, SharePoint, One Drive, WeTransfer, Strong communications skills - Regular presentations will be required, product demonstrations, verbal and written communications, listening.
