Apprentice Mobile Plant Operator
Are you a school or college leaver looking to kick start your career? Or are you already working but looking for a new challenge or career change? If so and you're interested in operating mobile plant machinery we believe we have the perfect opportunity for you!
Working for the largest independent construction materials business in the UK and Ireland, you'll be provided with real, practical experience and mentoring by industry experts, plus full training in variety of mobile plant machinery.
Working with our fantastic Block Plant operations teams, you'll be an ideal fit for this position if you have a great sense of humour and are willing to get stuck in!
Do you have…?
- A full UK Driving Licence - owing to the location of the quarry you will need to be able to drive your own vehicle or otherwise be able to reliably get yourself to work on time.
- A genuine interest in the construction materials industry, specifically an interest in driving heavy mobile plant machinery.
You'll be supported throughout your career with us, with time out of work to attend virtual learning events and college. Initially you'll be undertaking a Static and Mobile Plant operations Apprenticeship with MPQC; whereby you will achieve a Level 2 Plant Operations NVQ diploma qualification. You'll initially be trained to operate a Wheeled Loading Shovel and a fork lift truck!
