Architect Job in Hammersmith, London

A global design studio has an Architect job available working on international luxury projects.

Established over 20 years ago, this team of creators have been taking over the high-end retail design sector since its inception. Their unique approach to design has helped them amass a list of top-end clients and projects in over 100 cities around the world. They are currently developing some amazing luxury retail, F&B, and hospitality projects in China ranging from 150,000 to 800,000 sqm from concept design through to completion.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of planning your project work and analysing the brief
  • Liaise with your peers, mentor and assist junior staff and coordinate with external parties where required
  • Identify required project information, conduct research and sourcing
  • Contribute to outline specifications and preparing schedules and lists
  • Propose design measures in adherence with building regulations and other requirements
  • Report on progress of projects.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5 years' experience post qualified
  • Strong knowledge of building regulations and general planning policy
  • Proven experience across all RIBA stages
  • Good understanding of concept design as well as technical ability
  • Prior experience within landscape design
  • Working knowledge of façade design
  • Prior experience on exhibition design, visitor centres, pavilions, workplace interiors
  • Excellent working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit and Rhino
  • Knowledge of Adobe Suite
  • Hand sketching skills
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal is essential.
