We are currently working with a successful house builder who has an exciting role Architect job now available working in its in-house design team. If you are an Architect keen to move across to a client-focused role then this could be the role for you.

This Kent-based house builder has developed a reputation and won multiple awards for its high-quality homes combining well thought designs and top-quality materials. They now have a role in their in-house design team as an Architect.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Master planning and sketch schemes for potential new sites
  • Working on housing development of around 15 units
  • Develop architectural drawing packages
  • lead on projects up to stage 4
  • Produce detailed planning drawings in AutoCAD
  • Work on the production of design and excess statements
  • development of visuals to support planning applications using Photoshop
  • Work closely with the land buying, technical teams and sales teams
  • Communicate with outside consultants and organisations.

Required Skills & Experience

  • ARB qualified Architect with a minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience
  • Experience in UK residential projects is essential
  • Developer lead residential experience would be highly beneficial
  • Ability to manage multiple projects
  • Skilled in the use of AutoCAD, InDesign and Photoshop
  • Confident communicator
  • Happy to work independently
  • Due to office location and need to visit site you will need your own transport.

What you get back

  • £35,000 - £43,000
  • Office houses 8 am to 4.30PM
