Architect Job in Bermondsey, London

Architect job is now available with a world-renowned architectural and heritage consultancy! This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the restoration of the Palace of Westminster Estate, one of the UK's most iconic and historically significant sites.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support multiple projects across all RIBA stages, ensuring timely and budget-conscious delivery
  • Apply conservation principles to historic buildings in line with heritage regulations and guidelines
  • Contribute to design development, technical detailing, and sustainable solutions
  • Assist senior architects in managing client relationships and preparing design proposals
  • Conduct site visits, monitor quality, and ensure compliance with building regulations and conservation standards.

Required Skills & Experience

  • ARB-registered Architect with Part 3 qualification and 2+ years' UK project experience
  • Proficiency in Revit (BIM), AutoCAD, and NBS for drawings, specifications, and coordination
  • Strong design ability with excellent technical detailing and presentation skills
  • Thorough knowledge of UK building regulations, planning, and statutory requirements
  • Proven experience across all RIBA stages with an interest or background in conservation architecture
  • Interest in, or progress towards, a recognised conservation qualification or accreditation.

  • £36,000 - £48,000
