Role: Architect /Designer

Location: Monaghan

Salary: Negotiable DOE

Our client a leading manufacturer of concrete products in Ireland are currently recruiting for a Structural/Civil Engineer to join their team due to continued growth and expansion.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop a suite of sample designs using our new modular system
  • Develop specific designs with our modular system to client specifications
  • Produce computerised drawings and sketches for use as sales and marketing tools
  • Contribute to the development of standard details
  • Effective communication amongst clients and colleagues including architects, engineers and project managers
  • To provide suitable and practical solutions to meet client expectations

SKILLS & QUALITIES

  • Creative flair in practical design
  • Ability to consider practical construction issues in the development of design ideas
  • Knowledge of Building Regulations
  • Able to work with initiative and project manage a variety of design portfolios simultaneously
  • Excellent verbal and written communication & interpersonal skills.

OPPORTUNITIES FOR PROGRESSION

  • This limited duration contract may lead to a permanent role as the sales and marketing function of this new product line develop
  • Opportunities exist in the company for the right candidate to develop into sales, business or technical roles
