Architectural Studio Leader Job in Chapel Hill, NC

Rare opportunity available for an Architectural Studio Leader Job with a multidisciplinary architecture firm, based out of their office in Chapel Hill, NC. The role will see you take the lead of the team, foster relationships with new and existing clients, and have creative direction on a varied portfolio of projects. Over the last two decades since the business was established, the team has grown to over 70 members of staff that are split across three offices, covering a diverse range of project types such as corporate interiors, hospitality, multi-family, education, and more. Part of the firm's design ethos is focused on the bigger picture of projects, how they contribute to the local areas, their sustainability impact, and promoting a sense of wellness for the users. Due to continued expansion, they are now looking to appoint a Studio Leader who is a Registered Architect (NC) and has a passion for delivering projects that have a lasting impact.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Business development and management of existing client relationships
  • Team management and support with their professional development
  • Project management for design, scheduling, budgeting, and compliance
  • Work closely with leadership teams to establish new business opportunities and strategies.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Registered Architect in the State of North Carolina
  • 10+ years of industry experience working across a range of project types
  • Business development and team management experience
  • Experience with CAD software, relevant training can be provided
  • Sustainable design/certifications are beneficial.
