Architectural Technician Job in Battersea, London

Architectural Technician Job available for immediate start! The opportunity to work on a fixed term contract for the next 3 to 6 months in Battersea, London.

Our client's portfolio consists of high-end homes in prime areas of London, such as Kensington, Chelsea, and Westminster. Due to a high demand in new work, they now require an immediately available Architectural Technician to join them on a fixed term contract basis, this contract will be between 3 to 6 months.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Working as part of the project team on the technical design stage of a large Central London residential development
  • Prepare and manage CAD drawings using studio templates and standards, maintaining clarity and consistency across the package
  • Draft and develop typical details, key sections, and construction details, coordinating with Project Architect
  • Work closely with the Project Architect, consultants, and contractors to ensure full integration of structural, services, and specialist design information
  • Apply technical knowledge and a practical understanding of UK building regulations, construction methods, and materials
  • Support the completion of the Technical Design (RIBA Stage 4) package, ensuring information is accurate, coordinated, and compliant with current standards and regulations.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Solid technical experience working on UK residential projects with a minimum of 2 years PQE
  • Expert user of AutoCAD
  • Clear communication skills for liaison with consultants, suppliers, and site teams
  • Must have UK working experience, ideally have worked on London based projects and be immediately available.

What you get back

  • £33,000 - £38,000 Pro Rata
  • Work from home Friday's.
