We are currently working UK's largest house builders who are currently seeking an Architectural Technician to join it's leatherhead office to assist with the reviewing and monitoring of the technical drawings.

Founded in 1976, this company has grown into one of the UK's leading developers. The Southern region employs approximately 120 people with around 90 based in this office. The current workload of the office is mainly made up of developments of between 400 to 600 homes in the southeast of England.

This role for an Architectural Technician would see you working directly with the head of detailed design. Working on the reviewing and monitoring of technical drawings.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Review of detailed drawing information from external suppliers
  • Production of project-based detailed drawings as required
  • Review of pre-planning application drawings as supplied by in house planning team for technical compliance
  • Monitoring and development of current standard details and standard house types
  • Coordination of documentation.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Have a Minimum of 3 years working as a Architectural Technician
  • Experience of working on UK residential projects is essential
  • Working on Developer led projects is beneficial
  • Excellent technical knowledge
  • Skilled in the use of AutoCAD
  • Highly Organised
  • Possess an interest in technical detailing and standardization of construction methods and detailing.
  • Due to the need to visit site you will require your own transport.

What you get back

  • Salary of £35,000 to £45,000
