Architectural Technician job now available working historic building projects as part of a specialist project team.

Working with public bodies, charities, trusts, private companies, contractors, developers, and individuals, this practice has been involved in the care and development of some of the best loved buildings and places in the UK and abroad. The practice provides sensitive restoration and repair schemes and modern design in historic contexts. Their bold and contemporary designs are spread across a variety of sectors including cultural, master planning, education, ecclesiastical, public, hospitality, residential, and many more. Due to continued Success, they are seeking an Architectural Technician to join the team.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Working as part of the project team
  • Assisting with 2D and 3D drawing and modeling production using HBIM through Revit
  • Investigate and offer technical advice on factors that affect building development
  • Coordinating detailed technical information stage 3 onwards
  • Preparation of reports
  • Attending meetings and site as required.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Experience working in historic building conservation projects is and is an essential requirement
  • Proven technical ability
  • Experience in project running of UK based projects
  • Skilled in the use of AutoCAD is essential
  • Working Knowledge of Revit would be beneficial
  • Experience in the running and delivery of projects.
