Architectural Technician Job in Abingdon, Oxfordshire

Our client is an award-winning architectural practice who have a number of new projects and developments. Due to this, they have a new Architectural Technician job available in its office in Oxfordshire.

This multi-award-winning Architectural practice works across 6 design studios in the UK. Working across all areas of architectural design, with particular experience and a growing portfolio in large-scale, complex projects in the science & research, healthcare, masterplanning, residential, community, leisure, and workplace sectors.

Due to a number of new projects and planned growth of its Oxford office, they are now seeking an Architectural Technician to join its team in the Oxfordshire office.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Work on the production of high-quality technical drawings, such as preparing and submitting planning drawings and documentation, assisting in the design and drawings for building regulations, producing technical specifications, tender and working drawing packages,
  • Assist with site appraisals and surveys
  • Working directly with clients
  • Support junior members of the team
  • Use Revit on a daily basis.

Required Skills & Experience

  • CIAT registered
  • Possess a minimum of 3 UK project experience
  • Ability to produce high-quality technical drawings and planning drawing packages
  • In-depth planning and building regulation knowledge
  • Experience in using Revit is essential for the role
  • Due to the office location, you would require your own transportation.
