Architectural Technician Job in Haslemere, Surrey

This friendly Architectural practice now has Architectural Technician job for an initial contract of 2-3 months but with the potential to extend this. If you are experienced in the use of AutoCAD and able to produce technical drawing packages, then they want to speak to you.

Based in Surrey, my client is a small but dynamic practice, with a creative team of professionals, that provide a range of design and construction services in areas throughout Surrey, Hampshire, West Sussex and London.

The successful candidate would be joining on an initial contract of 2-3 months working across a variety of sectors including residential, commercial and education. The role would focus on stage 4 onwards so good site experience is required.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Working on projects mainly on stage 4 onwards
  • Liaising with other team members, contractors and third parties on a regular basis
  • Producing accurate technical drawing packages
  • Attending site.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum of 4 years' professional experience in the relevant sectors
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential
  • Experience in the production of technical drawing packages
  • A background working with education projects
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, colleagues, contractors and local authorities
  • Due to the need to visit site you would need your own transport.
