Architectural Technician Job in Slough, Berkshire

We are currently working with an independent architectural practice that now has an Architectural Technician job available. This role would see you working with one of the leading practices in the growing retirement living and care sectors.

Established for over 50 years this award-winning architectural practice is made up of 20 people and has developed a reputation for delivering client-focused projects in the retirement living and care sector.
Due to this track record and strong client relationships, they are recruiting an Architectural Technician to join the team.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Working as part of the design team
  • Contribute to planning applications
  • Working on the developer of technical drawing packages
  • Prepare tender documentation
  • Deal with technical design issues
  • Attend the site regularly.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Qualified as an Architectural Technician
  • Ability to use AutoCAD/Revit
  • Freehand drawing ability would be beneficial
  • Experience in care or retirement living projects would be highly beneficial
  • Strong knowledge of UK building and CDM regulations
  • Due to site locations, you will need a valid UK driving licence.

What you get back

  • £27,000 - £35,000 depending on experience
