Architectural Technician job available with an AJ100 Architectural practice. This growing practice offers career progression, development, and flexible/hybrid working. Current projects include a highly unique art gallery project! With their projects being featured in a number of industry and lifestyle publications on a regular basis, the practice's portfolio of projects ranges from beautiful historical buildings and private homes to commercial properties and interiors.

Due to confirmed long-term projects including residential and specialist stonework projects, they now require Architectural Technicians at various levels to join the team.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Produce high-quality technical drawings, with detailed joinery fittings in a traditional style
  • Working across RIBA stages 2 - 6
  • Produce detailed hand drawings
  • Work alongside other Architectural Technologists and Architects on projects
  • Work on bespoke, high-end, conservation, and residential projects.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Qualified and trained as an Architectural Technician, Technologist, or Architect
  • Minimum of 3 years' professional experience in the UK
  • Possess a portfolio that demonstrates technical drawings that include drawings from 1:50 general arrangements down to 1:5 construction and joinery detailing
  • Experience in UK residential projects
  • Experience in working on basements, masonry, or stonework would be beneficial
  • Experience in the use of ArchiCAD is beneficial but full training is offered.
