Architectural Technologist Job in Nottingham, East Midlands

Architectural Technologist Job in Nottingham joining a top-ranked AJ100 practice and working with blue-chip clients from concept to completion fit-out projects, all while paving your way to the senior leadership team. The client has expressed their flexibility with this role so I would encourage associates and mid-level to associate architectural technologists to apply who also have the correct experience. For this role, they are offering up to £50,000.

This company has an extensive history of delivering large-scale projects across both public and private clients, across the UK. Due to a very strong pipeline over the next few years, they now seek this position to assist with the growth of their retail/ team. This will be the first hire over the following months as they are looking to build this team to support their pipeline.

Role & Responsibilities

  • You would be working very closely with the clients, regularly visiting the site and presenting to them

  • Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, and contractors

  • Managing projects from concept to completion

  • Assisting with AutoCAD/ Revit drawings occasionally

  • Current projects may require you to occasionally travel to the site.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5-10 years experience

  • MCIAT is desirable but not essential

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential Revit experience is desirable

  • Experience working in retail projects is preferred

  • You will have previous experience managing fit-out projects end-to-end

  • Previous experience working within a team

  • Highly skilled in communicating with clients, managing expectations, and working with clients and stakeholders

  • A good understanding of the UK buildings regulations and legislation, fire strategies etc.
