We're looking for an Area Operations Manager to join our team. Within this role you can enjoy progression opportunities, the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects of all sizes and complexities, and even more.

Contract: Permanent, full time



Responsibilities





In this role, you will be working on our Anglian Water Alliance, where we work on maintaining, repairing, and upgrading the water network.



As Area Operations Manager, you'll drive excellent performance of the IOS Water delivery route in terms of people utilisation, programme and cost performance. You'll develop a team that takes responsibility for projects and limits hand offs between delivery and construction whilst continuously learning and improving processes for our customers.



Your day to day will include:


  • Guarantee Construction, Design and Management (CDM) compliance throughout delivery and construction, including regular auditing of sites
  • Managing programme budget in conjunction with the Commercial Team, monitoring expenditure and costs against delivered and realised benefits as the programme progresses
  • Accountable for safeguarding water for our customers throughout project delivery by compliance to relevant legislation

  • You have demonstrable experience of successful capital scheme delivery in the utility sector
  • You have proven leadership skills to empower high performance in your team
  • A Full Driving Licence
