Technical Area Sales Manager - Timber Engineering
Up to £33,000 + Bonus + Car
North West England & North East England

We have been working with a major supplier of Engineered Wood Products for over five years now; they take great pride in their leading position in the UK's marketplace to find candidates who can sell their Timber Engineering services to Contractors and Builders Merchants. Having placed a number of successful candidates with this company they are now looking for a Technical Area Sales Manager to join their team in the North West of England / North East of England (M62 corridor is ideal).
The Role:
We are currently seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, highly organised and disciplined sales individual who has some exposure to roofing and flooring solutions to Builders and Merchants. This could have been gained actually working for a Builders Merchant as the understanding of how a merchnat functions is important.
The key performance areas of this role will involve:
- Building and maintaining key accounts and customers
- Making both office and site based visits to customers
- Providing effective commercial solutions to cutomers backed with technical knowledge (full training given)
- Providing support and advice to customers and the production team whilst ensuring total customer satisfaction
Skills required:
- A sales track record to Builders / Contractors with a technical product
- Excellent numerical skills
- Systematic and methodical with a good attention to detail
- Strives to continuously improve performance
- An effective communicator
