Breedon are currently seeking an Asphalt & Concrete Plant Manager based our Ling Hall site in Rugby.
You will be responsible for site Health & Safety, production of asphalt & ready-mix concrete using a computerised batching system, and managing the day-to-day safe and efficient running of the site.
The key responsibilities of the role are:
The successful candidate will have a general mechanical / electrical understanding of machinery equipment within the asphalt & concrete plant and be able to identify faults and report accordingly. You will have a flexible proactive and versatile approach to work.
You will also have an energetic "hands on" approach, the ability to anticipate problems and consider a solution, the ability to negotiate and work collaboratively with colleagues on both a formal and informal level. This position is ideal for a highly motivated person with experience of plant operations.
