Our client is a leading membership services company. They are currently recruiting for an Assessment Manager to join their Independent Assessment Service.

Job role:
The candidate will be responsible for the assessment strategy for the company with specific responsibility for end-point assessment tools design, development and refresh. Also be responsible for the delivery of high quality reliable and valid end-point assessment that is consistent, comparable and exceeds the regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance with current apprenticeship policy and the published assessment plans and managing their team of chief examiners. Will lead on the recruitment and management of the bank of independent technical experts/assessors for each niche specialism including approval, risk rating and performance monitoring. You will work with the Service Officer to ensure the smooth scheduling of end-point assessment including delivering training to technical experts and assessors to deliver high quality end-point assessments.

Skills/Experience:
Graduate or working at graduate level
Knowledge of quality assurance and assessment from either a qualification and/or apprenticeship end-point assessment perspective
Thorough knowledge of apprenticeship and technical education policy landscape
Demonstrable experience in a key role of responsibility, relating to quality assurance of education, standards and/or frameworks preferably in an awarding organisation.
Proven track record of managing teams and operational delivery, driving continuous service improvements
Will have experience of engaging with and building relationships with diverse internal and external stakeholders
Experience of developing and implementing effective reporting metrics, working to measure and exceed performance requirements
