Job Title: Assistant Buyer
Location: Rushden, Northamptonshire. Hybrid working available, min 1 - 2 days per week in the office
Business Area: Kier Group Services
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent, able to consider part-time

We're currently recruiting for an Assistant Buyer to join our Group procurement team to provide a high-quality procurement service across our business.

Key Responsibilities

In this Assistant Buyer role, you will

  • Manage ticket requests from the business in line with SLAs
  • Raise purchase orders for projects and ensure urgent orders are approved within a timely manner
  • Provide appropriate benchmarking high value requisitions and supporting the wider Kier operating units with pricing requests
What we are looking for

  • Organised and proactive with a customer focused approach
  • Excellent administration skills with an ability to adapt in a demanding environment
  • Previous experience working in a busy high-volume environment
  • Able to work under your own initiative
  • Experience within a Procurement industry is desirable
