Assistant Change Consultant

Working for a leading consultancy in the Utilities sector, a great opportunity to transfer your skills into this sector, being mentored into a Principal Change Consultant.

Location: - Coventry (Hybrid working)

Hybrid working: - 2/3 days per week in the office as you need to be around the team for support and development. 2/3 days working from home once competent in your role.

(You have to be flexible to attend client meetings with the Principal Consultants, introducing you to stakeholders and project management teams)

Salary: - £40,000 - £50,000 basic + Package (Depending on experience)

Role Description

The Resolute Group are working in partnership with a leading Consultancy within the utility sector. With projects based across the UK on both a framework and individual basis with a number of key clients in the Water / Gas & Power sectors.

This role is the perfect step up from a graduate position in to developing into a true consultant. Working within the Utilities sector, you will be given sector knowledge as well as career development in moving you into a Change consultant and beyond. The projects are all about change management from digital / process or organisational so coming from this type of background will be key.

Understanding how a consultancy works, the PMO function, the analytical aspects of the work all the core skills you will have an understanding of before stepping into this position.

The day-to-day duties will vary depending on the project you are working on but could include:

  • Create effective rollout plans.
  • Actively facilitate discussion groups and workshops with customers.
  • Work closely with project team members to ensure that project deliverables efficiently contribute to the development of the business change programme.
  • Support the design and delivery of training programs to embed new ways of working, processes, and initiatives.
  • Support in the development of the case for change, ensuring alignment with the project business case to deliver the benefits.
  • Understand the client change landscape and culture (including any longer-term considerations), and support in the development of the appropriate business change, communication and engagement strategy to complement it.
  • Help design, update and drive the business change plan for the assigned project(s).

This role is working on a hybrid basis. Working from home when undertaking more administrative tasks then in the office or client site when involved with stakeholder meetings and aspects of the role that will improve your development. At first it will be more like 3 days in the office but will drop to 2 days as you get used to the projects and tasks at hand.

This is NOT an IT or Finance transformation role, if you are used to SAP, Salesforce, implementing new IT systems this role won't be right for you.

Qualifications / Experience

  • Degree qualified or MBA again would be ideal due to the levels you will be operating at.
  • Experience can be open to PMO, analytics, Project Management as long as it's part of a change programme.
  • Full driving licence
