We're looking for an Assistant Design Manager to join our Major Projects team based on our Full Sutton Prison project. Within this role, you can enjoy exposure exciting projects, progression opportunities, support in obtaining further qualifications and even more.

Responsibilities

As an Assistant Design Manager, you will be supporting the Design Manager and the Design Team by coordinating and liaising on design, drawings, issues and programs. You will be involved from inception to handover.

Your day to day will include:

  • Assisting with the Design management process, design programme and documentation and working collaboratively within or pre-construction and operational teams

  • Working with internal and external stakeholders such as the design team and building control officers to architects and the local planning authority

  • Attending client meetings, site meetings and subcontractor meetings when required

This role of Assistant Design Manager is great for you if you:

  • Are either qualified or working towards your professional qualification

  • Have previous workplace experience in a design focused environment

  • Are willing to train and develop
