Location: Solihull, Birmingham with home working

Business area: Kier Construction - Eastern and Midlands

Contract: Permanent, full time, Monday to Friday

Kier Construction are looking for an Assistant Design Manager to support our Design Managers on specific projects based out of our Solihull office. You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects from Education to commercial, healthcare, leisure, public sector and more!

Key Responsibilities

You will be supporting the design team by coordinating and liaising on design, drawings, issues and programs. Working with internal and external stakeholders such as the design team and building control officers to architects and the local planning authority. Involved from inception to handover you will also attend client meetings, site meetings and subcontractor meetings when required.

What do we need from you?

We will need you to be either qualified or working towards your professional qualification and have previous workplace experience in a design focused environment. If you are willing to train and develop, work as part of a team and have excellent communication skills, then we want you!
