Exciting opportunity for an Assistant Engineer to join Kier working on the Highways England South West Design Services Contract. The main purpose of this role is to produce technical designs / documentation and support the Lead Engineer in the delivery of Highway Improvement and Maintenance schemes. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone looking for career development and progression.
What do we need from you?
- Degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering
- Experience in the design of highway improvement and/or maintenance schemes
- Knowledge, experience and application of the DMRB and MCHW
- Good understanding of Health and Safety Management and the requirements of Construction, Design and Management Regulations (CDM)
- Computer literate
- Excellent time management and interpersonal skills
- Strong team player who can work in a collaborative and enthusiastic manner
