Location: Llandridod, Wales

Contract: Permanent, full time, Monday to Friday

Join this thriving Design & Business Services team as an Assistant M&E Engineer and you'll shape innovative, inspired solutions for public and private sector clients. Working collaboratively and engagingly with colleagues in many disciplines, you'll do more than 'just' deliver the project - you'll be at the heart of realising the full value to clients.
Key Responsibilities
As an Assistant Mechanical & Electrical Engineer, you will report to the Energy & Engineering Manager and support on projects across Powys County Council. You will be responsible for assisting the delivery of a range of projects from minor refurbs to major new builds, support with the delivery of the latest design solutions, assist with project management, work with Engineering design software, research and investigate new technologies, and undertake any mechanical and electrical duties.
What do we need from you?
We are seeking an individual who has experience of mechanical or electrical building services i.e. lighting, power, data, fire, security, heating, ventilation, water etc. Experience of delivering technical design solutions and maintenance of building services would be desirable. A knowledge of asbestos and any relevant qualifications would be an advantage. If you enjoy working proactively, innovative and are willing new learn, we'd like to hear from you!
