Protocol is working with one on the largest Colleges in the country to help appoint a new Assistant Principal. Reporting to the College Principal the post holder has the opportunity to join at an exciting time of significant investment in facilities and importantly will have the opportunity to shape and develop our students' learning experience and journey within the college. You will be part of the groups larger senior management team and one of three Assistant Principals responsible for all local college provision.

Role responsibilities
To assist the Principal in the planning and delivery of excellent learning experiences and outcomes as part of the college senior management team with responsibilities across all college sites
Lead the curriculum planning process within curriculum area of responsibility to provide a coherent, responsive and cost effective curriculum offer.
Liaise with the Marketing Team to promote and market the college's provision and services and lead campus marketing and promotion activities
Maximise recruitment to ensure that enrolment targets are met.
Ensure the learner journey is of the highest quality with excellent retention, successful completion and progression.


The person & qualifications
You will need to have the leadership skills and educational expertise required so that you can shape education and training experiences that meet the needs of all students and the regional economy. The main curriculum areas of responsibility for the post holder will be decided upon appointment based on experience, curriculum background and most appropriate fit for the college.

You will be from a teaching and learning background and be fully focused on the learner journey and experience. With substantial experience of curriculum design and management, you must also be commercially focused as you will be responsible for a significant college budget. An experienced leader and manager, with great networking ability, you will have a track record in delivering excellent or outstanding results.
