Job Description
Be part of our client's team as an Associate Product Manager, where you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development, launch, and lifecycle management. Your Daily Tasks
- Product Lifecycle Management for assigned products across channels within the US, Canada and the UK. This includes collecting information from the vendor and product manager for item set up including product attributes such as weight, dimensions, costs, product images, item substitution and discontinues by assigning reason codes. Complete system updates in Net Suite to ensure item master data is correct. Run sales and profit reports out of Profit Optics and populate and maintain the PIM tool on a weekly basis.
- Execute go-to-market initiatives to support new and focused products which include developing product literature, providing content updates for our website, power point slides and launch packets along with making website updates on a weekly basis.
- Track key metrics to include monthly product sales and GP performance vs. target, discontinuation reporting, weekly project timeline tracking, measuring standardization success through pulling and analyzing data, identifying item substitutes for discontinued items, item set up time and key initiatives success per sales targets, analyzing product performance using sales data, and surface actionable insights from findings utilizing reporting in Profit Optics and BI Tool.
- Assist the sales team on a daily basis with questions they have about the products from their customers which may involve looking up data on PH website or ERP (Net Suite), reaching out to sourcing or brand team, or reaching out to vendors. Provide complete cross-reference lists for the sales and national accounts team by identifying a suitable cross-reference of a competitive item, and answering their questions.
- Assist product managers on a daily basis with reporting, product information, and analysis as needed for developing and executing product strategies and product roadmaps aligned with company goals.
- Conduct market & competitor research by searching online, gather user feedback from the sales team or Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), and identify growth opportunities for products within assigned portfolio as needed.
- Participate in cross-functional teams which include segment marketing, digital marketing, brand, data management, finance, and sourcing to ensure that projects are delivered on time and commitments to customers, internal stakeholders and the company are met on a weekly basis.

- Grow new products sales to be a larger percentage of overall sales for assigned category (this varies by category) Achieve Growth Initiatives project timeline and revenue for assigned categories
- Respond to Sales Questions within 24 hours
- Complete cross references in stated timeline (varies by project)
