Assistant Project Manager Job in Manhattan, New York
New requirement for an Assistant Project Manager job / Project Professional job available with a leading architecture and design firm located in New York, specialising in corporate/workplace projects. The ideal candidate will be Revit proficient and have strong knowledge of commercial building codes and corporate projects.
Specialising in corporate interiors this practice has a long-standing history of working with prestigious clients across the globe in both the workplace and retail sector. The team of almost 200 work from two offices in New York, covering all stages of architecture and design. Due to continued expansion of their portfolio they're now looking to appoint an Assistant Project Manager/Project Professional on a full-time permanent basis.
Role & Responsibilities
- Assist in the project management and design of workplace/office projects
- Use Revit and review technical drawings for accuracies and compliance
- Assist with project finances and fees/budgets
- Coordinate with clients/contractors
- Progress review and timeframe planning, visiting sites throughout construction/roll-out
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years in corporate interiors and project management
- Strong Revit and AutoCAD experience
- Understanding and experience with commercial building codes and regulations/compliance
- Experience liaising with landlords and consultants across all stages
