Location: Lutterworth- Leicestershire
Contract: Permanent, full time
Salary: £35- 38k depending on experience plus company car or cash allowance
Responsibilities
Kier Utilities brings the built environment to life. In this role you will be working on our National Grid Electricity Distribution (NGED) contract.
As Assistant Project Manager, you will support in the delivery of the Electricity Network improvement projects for the contract across the Midlands. You will play a vital role in managing the operational teams and be responsible for all stages of excavation works on site from planning to delivery.
This role offers the opportunity to be your own boss, manage your workload and arrange regular site visits. We will support you with all the training and development required. The successful candidate would be offered the opportunity to develop their skills to grow into Project Manager position in the future.
Your day to day will include:
- Plan, manage and coordinate safety audits
- Daily liaison with subcontractors to monitor progress against programme objectives
- Site monitoring to ensure compliance
This role of Assistant Project Manager is great for you if:
- You hold a NRSWA qualification
- Experience within the utility sector supervising a team
- A Full Driving Licence
