A growing, multidisciplinary construction consultancy based in Kent is seeking a capable Assistant Project Manager to join their fast-paced Project Management team.

The Assistant Project Manager will join a small and supportive Project Management team and offers the perfect opportunity for an Assistant Project Manager to get involved in projects from Inception-Completion.

The company that the Assistant Project Manager will be joining:

An Assistant Project Manager will be joining a multidisciplinary Consultancy with their prime office based in Kent, which pride themselves on providing exceptional Project Management support whilst delivering high-end projects across multiple sectors.

The Consultancy firm requires an Assistant Project Manager to assist in delivering a selection of unique projects such as New Build, Refurbishment and Fit Outs within existing buildings across England within sectors such as Residential, Commercial, Heritage, Retail and Leisure with Contract values ranging from £3m-£400m.

Assistant Project Manager Role:

The Assistant Project Manager will be responsible for offering support to senior members within the Project Management and wider team from Inception-Completion stages within a Project.

Responsibilities of an Assistant Project Manager:

  • Assisting in the management of project plans and schedules.
  • Facilitating communication between clients and project teams.
  • Supporting project reporting and documentation.
  • Aiding in the procurement of project resources.
  • Contributing to risk assessments and mitigation strategies.

The Assistant Project Manager requirements:

  • Some experience in Residential, Commercial, Leisure and Retail sectors would be preferred.
  • Ideally commutable to Kent and surrounding areas.
  • BSc or MSc in Project Management is preferred.
  • Understanding of New Builds, Fit Outs and Refurbishment projects.
  • A strong eagerness to want to learn/grow your knowledge.
  • Desire to become Chartered in the future.
