Reporting to a Project Manager, the Assistant Project Manager will be offering support in overseeing various sized small works and commercial projects of a refurbishment nature for values between £10,000 and £1.5m. An experienced, reliable, team player will be a welcome addition to our enthusiastic team. Applicant Requirements • Construction related qualification i.e. HNC/HND or equivalent • GCSE or equivalent Grade C or above in English Language, Literacy and Numeracy • Willingness to undertake training programmes as deemed necessary by the Company • Competent in the use of a range of IT packages • Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and compliance • Self-motivated and proactive • Commercial awareness and understanding of the construction process • Excellent communication skills both orally and written • Positive attitude and the ability to integrate and be an active part in the team • Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise to meet deadlines • Keen to pursue personal development needs and maintain up to date knowledge • You must hold a full current UK driving licence and have had 6 months driving experience since passing your test and live within an hour of the Northampton area. This is a full time position and hours of work will be 42 hours per week. 07:45hrs to 17:15hrs Monday – Thursday 07:45hrs to 16:45hrs Friday Please see our website for job description and how to apply for this position.
