Assistant Project Manager opportunity with a multi-disciplinary Construction and Property Consultancy in Birmingham
We have an outstanding opportunity in Birmingham city centre with a Building and Project Consultancy. This highly dynamic firm works with an impressive range of clients such as developers and property funds offering services in Project Management for New Builds and fitouts, and professional surveying services in dilapidations, acquisitions, landlord and tenant issues and maintenance. Many are one off schemes, although the firm also works with larger clients on bigger programmes of work. They seek to provide a fully integrated approach to ensure they work in partnership with clients to deliver the best possible solution.
We're looking for a Construction Graduate to join their team. You must have recently graduated in a Construction related discipline such as Construction Management, Building Surveying or similar and be looking for an opportunity to gain experience as you work towards professional qualification. At least a year's industry experience is also required. As our client firmly believes in ongoing professional development they can demonstrate genuine commitment and success in supporting you, and in addition offer great career progression alongside this.
Initially you will be working with one of the directors on the provision of a Project Management service to clients in the leisure / hospitality sector. You will be supporting the delivery of a programme of refurbishment works which allows you to gain good experience of the full project lifecycle, dealing with the client and managing contractors on the projects from inception to completion. Some travel is required so a driving license and use of a vehicle is a must.
