Assistant Quantity Surveyor Job in Dorchester, Dorset
Assistant Quantity Surveyor job available, joining a successful housing developer based in Dorchester. Offering up to £35,000 and further progression opportunities!
Role & Responsibilities
- Creating budget estimates for construction costs on new sites and tracking actual expenditures against these budgets
- Preparing pricing for bricklaying services
- Conducting comparative analyses of sub-contractor tenders
- Measuring quantities to verify sub-contractor prices against established rate schedules
- Compiling material take-offs based on project plans
- Supporting the preparation of tender submissions
- Aiding in the development of monthly forecasts and cash flow projections
- Maintaining records and documentation related to sub-contracts.
Required Skills & Experience
- HNC or Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar
- Previous experience in a similar role or within the construction industry
- Full UK driving license and car
- Prior experience within housing development is desirable.
What you get back
- Salary between £26,000 - £35,000 DOE
