A Fit-Out contractor are actively recruiting an Assistant Quantity Surveyor with fit out/refurbishment experience to work on high profile contracts in London. The Assistant Quantity Surveyor will be joining a long established company who have a reputable record in London. The successful Assistant Quantity Surveyor will benefit from a consistent and steady work pipeline.
THE COMPANY
The successful Assistant Quantity Surveyor will be working for a reputable name in the UK fit-out sector. They have previously worked on fit-out contracts for the world's leading companies throughout a variety of sectors.
THE ROLE
As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will be required to oversee all commercial matters on at least 1 project at a time, reporting to a commercial lead on site and liaising with the required team members when necessary.
Your responsibilities will include;
Cost Valuation Reporting
Undertake Site Visits
Submission & Negotiation of Final Accounts
Validating Subcontractor Applications
Prepare Monthly Cost Reconciliation for Division Manager
THE PERSON
The suitable Assistant Quantity Surveyor will have a Main Contractor background, preferably with Fit-Out experience.
Knowledge of Current Forms of Contract
Experience with fit-out
BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying
Minimum of 3 years post-graduate experience.
