Assistant Quantity Surveyor Job in Wilmslow, Cheshire
Assistant Quantity Surveyor job in Wilmslow, Cheshire for a leading regional housebuilder. The role offers a package of £30,000 - £35,000 + Car Allowance + 10% Bonus. To be considered you must come from a housebuilding background.
They are one of the largest independently owned housebuilders in the UK and have won numerous national awards in design, construction, and energy efficiency. Covering the North, Midlands and Central areas of the UK, they are renowned for creating quality homes with the highest quality materials and finishes. You will be covering their North region, across Cheshire, Derbyshire, Greater Manchester and Lancashire.
Role & Responsibilities
- Assistant with sub-contractor tender documentation and process
- Breakdown of build costs
- Monthly contractor applications for payment and interim payments
- Issuing variations and contra charges
- Carry out monthly progress checklists for all sites
- Carry out monthly valuation, CVRs and CTCs
- Attend regular site meetings
- Liaise with the Design & Technical Departments.
Required Skills & Experience
- 1+ years' experience in Quantity Surveying
- Experience working for a UK Housebuilder
- Relevant Degree would be preferred but not essential
- Experienced in COINS would be advantageous
- Driving Licence and Car is essential.
