We're looking for a Assistant Signalling Designer to join our Infrastructure Rail team based in Rushden, Northamptonshire. Within this role you can enjoy 26 days annual leave, sharesave scheme, family friendly policies and even more.

Responsibilities

As a Assistant Signalling Designer, you'll be working within the Infrastructure Rail team, supporting with Engineering and technical input, design, review or reporting and May Gurney Safety and Rail Signalling Department.

Your day to day will include:

  • To assist in the production of signalling design in accordance with your competency level.

  • Use of Microstation CAD software and working on sepia records

  • Conform to May Gurney internal corporate rules, processes and/or procedures.

  • To gather evidence and work towards an IRSE Designer's licence, and maintain an IRSE log book which will be reviewed on a yearly basis.

  • To assist with the management of signalling records


What do we need from you?

This role of Assistant Signalling Designer is great for you if:

  • Hold an IRSE Licence 1.1.110 or demonstrate that working towards licence.

  • Up to date IRSE Log Book.

  • Experience in lineside location design for LED/Filament Signals and V/EBI Track circuits
