We're looking for an Assistant Site Manager to join our Kier Build team based in London. Location: Newport, Isle of Wight

Contract: St Mary's Hospital, Fulltime, Permanent

Responsibilities

As an Assistant Site Manager, you'll be supporting the Site team with running several packages.

Your day to day will include:

  • Being responsible for assisting with a specific area/packages of the project in terms of maintaining high standards of safety and housekeeping and project-wide package management duties
  • Engaging in Short-Interval Control planning approaches with allocated packages to effectively manage and forward plan the works on site
  • Develop a detailed understanding of the buildings design pertaining to the allocated packages and managing quality to ensure specification standards are achieved
Who are we looking for?

This role of Assistant Site Manager is great for you if you have:

  • Experience of working on large schemes with high standards to match in terms of Safety, Quality and Programme as well as experience in : Curtain walling, Precast concreate, Block work.
  • Have a basic commercial and contract understanding to support your daily duties
  • Working with a highly motivated team as well as understanding of drawings, specifications and manufacturers requirements to ensure suitability for construction and raise Technical Queries.
  • Experience in Residential and Fit out
  • SMSTS, valid CSCS black / gold card
