Our client is seeking to recruit an experienced Assistant Site Manager initially for potentially an ongoing period for their large New Build Development in Skegness to start on as soon as possible.
Your main roles and responsibilities will be-
- To assist the Site Manager with the day to day management of the site.
- Assist the Site Manager with site inductions as agreed on site and to suit the demands of the project.
- Ensure all contractors supervisors monitor compliance in accordance with site regulations and health and safety requirements.
- Promote a positive H&S culture.
- To provide full cover for Site Manager in times of sickness / annual holidays.
- Liaise with the Client and the Clients staff and build a good working relationship.
- Ensure all H&S and QA documents are completed in accordance with company policy.
- Monitor contractors on site
- Ensure good housekeeping is being maintained.
- Monitor contractors deliveries that they are being scheduled correctly.
- Ensure all construction activities are co-ordinated and work effectively.
- Ensure Temporary Workers are identified and noted to the Temp Works Co-ordinator.
- Ensure contractors are completing tool box talks and issuing the registers.
- Ensure contractors are issuing plant inspection sheets,
- Attend daily PDR meetings with contractors and staff members.
In order to be considered for the position you must have previous site supervising experience as well as relevant qualifications and certificates such as:
* SMSTS/SSSTS.
* Full First aid.
* CSCS
