With our Western & Wales region continuing to win more projects we are recruiting for an Assistant Site Manager on a 6-month fixed term contract with the potential for it to be extended. Job responsibilities Kier Construction Western & Wales are looking to recruit an Assistant Site Manager to join the team in Devon & Cornwall. The main purpose of the role is to assist the SM in running the site and ensuring the project is completed safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality by effectively organising and managing the site activities. This will involve taking responsibility for the onsite element of the works through strong management of all subcontractors and monitoring the performance of all associated personnel. You will also maintain project targets and ensure that all Kier's procedures and SHE Legislation and are always complied with.
What do we need from you?
It is preferable if you hold an HNC/D in construction or related/equivalent qualification, but not essential. Construction technical knowledge and a good understanding of SHE will also be advantageous. What will you receive?
