Assistant Site Manager

Pye Homes is an Oxfordshire based and long-established property developer. Acquired by Blenheim Estate in December 2018 there is now a new opportunity for an Assistant Site Manager to join us at this exciting time.

Reporting to and working closely with the Site Manager, you will be responsible for project managing site build from site set-up to ensuring houses are completed to Pye Homes standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with the Site Manager to project manage site build from site set-up to ensuring houses are completed in time for customer move-in dates.
  • Manage the health and safety across the site to the highest standards and in line with Pye Homes procedures.
  • Maintain a strong focus on the highest quality standards for all build stages and ensure our homes are delivered to Pye Homes standards.
  • Manage and maintain strong relationships with the subcontractor network on-site and coordinating trades to ensure they are meeting key build milestones.
  • Work closely with the rest of the team to ensure an excellent customer journey for all our customers.
  • Work with the National House Building Council (NHBC) to carry out key site and plot inspections

What you will need to have:

  • Assistant Site Management experience is desired, a trade background or knowledge of building processes is essential, including NHBC and Building Regulations.
  • Able to understand and manage risk through the promotion and management of safe systems of work.
  • First Aid qualified.
  • IT experience useful but not essential.
  • A confident decision-maker, ensuring teams deliver on those decisions.
  • A natural and enthusiastic communicator, working well with and supporting others in the team.
  • Able to generate and communicate ideas and solutions.
  • A solid understanding of site programmes, call-off processes and scheduling, including short-term programming.
