Assistant Strategic Land Manager Job in Waltham Abby, Essex
I have a Strategic Land Manager job available with 5* housebuilder working with their head office in Essex. This housebuilder who currently employee over 700 people are looking to strengthen the group strategic land team by appointing an Assistant Strategic Land Manager.
As the successful candidate you'll be joining the busy strategic land team which currently consists of 4 people. You'll be tasked with identifying strategic land opportunities across the south of England, from Norfolk across to Bristol and down to the South Coast. If this role there is an option to work from either their office in Essex or West Sussex.
Role & Responsibilities
- Securing suitable land opportunities
- Working closely with the planning, land buying and technical teams
- Assisting in legal agreements with landowners
- Keeping up to date with planning policy and local plan changes.
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience with strategic land, either as a Planner or Land Manager
- Relevant degree (not essential)
- Strong negotiation skills
- Commercially aware.
