We're looking for an Assistant Utilities Supervisor to join our team based in Ipswich. Within this role, you can enjoy partial remote working, progression opportunities and even more.

Location: Ipswich - partial remote working available, with regular travel to the office & sites to the surrounding area

Contract: Permanent, full time- flexible/ part time hours available if desired, just let us know and we'll do our best to support you

Responsibilities

Kier Utilities brings the built environment to life, keeping people and business connected.

In this role, you will be working on our Anglian Water Alliance, where we work on maintaining, repairing, and upgrading the water network.

As Assistant Utilities Supervisor, you will be supporting our Front Line Managers with the safe and efficient delivery of our onsite and complex off-site main laying programmes within IMDS (Integrated Metering Developer Services).

You will help the team meet our Construction Design Management (CDM) & Water Quality obligations and meeting performance goals by assisting with the collation of key Health & Safety and performance documents, whilst supporting site activities.

Your day to day will include:


  • Ensure water quality/ hygiene standards within POSWSH are achieved using water reports as well as collating key H&S forms such as near misses/ hazard spots, HAVs, PUWER & CAT performance data
  • Working closely with the planners to help coordinate the scheme delivery
  • Reviewing current documentation such as inspection test plan and commissioning paperwork and where required print work packs and design drawings for operational teams
