Associate Cost Manager Job in Reading, Berkshire / Hybrid Working
Associate Cost Manager job in Reading, Berkshire / Hybrid Working for an international and leading multidisciplinary consultancy, working on education projects in The South East across mainly Berkshire, Bucks, Surrey and Sussex. Salary £65,000 - £86,000 + Car Allowance £5.4k + Bonus + 28 Days Holiday + BH + Hybrid Working.
They are a leading global cost consultant partner and completely employee-owned in the UK, offering cost management, project and programme management, specialist consultancy and digital services. Delivering cost-effective and sustainable projects for their international client base. To be considered you must have a background as a Senior / Associate Cost Manager with experience in either the education or healthcare sectors. The role will be reporting to Partner level and you will have direct cost management reports to mentor and lead. Our client is looking for experience in Cost Management from cost planning to final accounts.
Role & Responsibilities
- Cost Management services on a number of projects, acting as the sole contact with each client and providing support to the existing team in the delivery of projects
- Manage, mentor and support professional development and training of Cost Managers
- Play an integral part in Business Development and client management, promoting the company brand with existing and new clients
- Full commercial responsibility from feasibility to final accounts
- Responsible for ongoing revenue, costs and profit reporting.
Required Skills & Experience
- MRICS is essential
- Cost Management experience at Senior or Associate level
- Consultancy background is essential
- Experience working on education or healthcare new build and major refurb / extension projects
- Strong Feasibility and Cost Planning experience
- Pre and Post Contract and commercial experience.
